Steps
To Having An Online Party
So what is an onlne party?
An online
party is very similar to an in home party, only it's done online and
in a chat room. The best part is that you can wear whatever you want
to online parties... PJ's if you want!
Reps from
many different companies will sign up for online fairs (those who have
signed up are usually referred to as "vendors". During the
reps selected time he/she will announce a little about herself, the
company, products, business opportunity, and special sales or incentives
they may have going on.
Steps
To Having An Online Party
1.
Check your schedule - you want to find a good time and date
for online party. Some choose to have one in the evening or during daytime
hours.
2.
Find a chat room or sign up for vendor fairs - You have the
option of having your own special online party or you can join a vendor
fair. The plus side of joining a vendor fair is that you are not the
only vendor there and others who have advertised may bring in some extra
visitors. More visitors = more potential sales.
Optional:
Find A Hostess - Just like in home parties you can find a hostess to
do the party for you and offer them special incentives for being a party
host.
3. Prepare
what you are going to say - It's always good to be prepared
in what you want to say when it's your time at the party. You definitely
want to introduce yourself and your company. Tell the visitors a little
each. Customers like to know who they are buying from. Just make sure
you keep it short and simple. Then announce to everyone any specials
or incentives you may be having. You may even choose to do an online
party.
4. Advertise
- This is one of the things you NEED to do. In order to get visitors/sales
you will have to advertise. There are many places to advertise like
message boards, other online communities, to friends and family, add
the party info to your signature line, etc..
5. Attend
the party - When it's party day you want to be courteous to
the other vendors and attend their presentations. When it's your time
turn to present start in with what you had prepared to say. Don't forget
to thank everyone for coming to the party!
